Chin Implants

When considering chin implants (chin augmentation) or chin contouring, you must have a consultation with your surgeon, or a professional plastic surgery consultant, such as Helen Elliott, to decide which procedure is right for you. To determine if you will need either chin or cheek implants, your consultant should advise you to evaluate your facial balance with your surgeon. If you do not have a surgeon, call Helen Elliott for a recommendation, and your confidential, no-cost consultation.

The consultation with your surgeon is essential to determine your ideal facial harmony structure. Your surgeon can then recommend the ideal procedure for your facial structure. The final outcome will then be assessed as to whether you should have chin implants (chin augmentation) or chin contouring. This decision can only be made after your facial balance has been analyzed.

Chin recession can be corrected by inserting a silicone implant (chin implant) through an incision in the skin just beneath the chin or through an incision inside the lip.

Cheek Implants

Cheek implants have become one of the hottest operations for those on the silver screen. Cheek implants can make the face look less tired and more youthful. For those who seek to have high cheekbones, cheek implants are the solution. The silicone implants (also made in a variety of other materials) are made from medical-grade silicone.

Facial balance

Facial balance is an important factor in determining if an individual has facial harmony. The balance of facial features is what makes a person "beautiful". The proportional balance of each feature is crucial in determining if a person has, "facial harmony" which is the balance of features in relation to the face.

When you look at an attractive movie star, you are drawn to their facial harmony. For example, when a chin is small, or set back, the proportions of the face in profile may seem off balance.

To find out if your face has facial balance, please consult with Helen and your surgeon to determine your facial harmony.
